Today is the happiest day I’ve had with Gracie since the first time she let me pet. Today, I came home, took off the collar and left. Gracie quickly followed me upstairs. No more basement. When she first emerged from the basement, she went to her favorite play spot in my bedroom. Now she’s sleeping next to me in the living room just like before the surgery. I’m going to leave the collar off for the rest of today and tonight. Let’s see how it goes.
Now if I could just get her to sit next to me on the couch. . .
